Summary: "great for comfort - Morton's neuroma"

The metatarsal pads built into this flip plus the cupped heal and padded instep strap make this a really comfortable choice for me since I have Morton's neuroma. It has great arch support for a medium arch. I wear this flip in the house all the time to keep my feet comfortable instead of going barefoot; I need the support. The choices for color are very limited (black or pink), but the fit was awesome from the first moment I stepped into these new favorites.

Summary: "No more aching calves"

I bought these during a heat wave and have been so happy to have them. Though they're more expensive than most flip-flops I would disagree with the dime-store quality assessment in a different review. I feel these shoes are more solid than any flip-flops I've ever seen or owned before. The arch support "bump" does feel a little weird at first, but is really comfortable when walking. I often get charlie-horses and sore calves if I wear flip-flops with no support, these I can wear all day with no problem. I only wish there were some more interesting colors.

Summary: "Helping my plantar fasciitis in a big way!"

These sandals are helping me heal my plantar fasciitis, without looking dowdy or old! They are sporty, and feel great on my feet. They offer excellent arch and heel support, and the wide straps help them stay on my feet, without "flopping."

I highly recommend them.

Summary: "feel great"

I have arch problems and ordered these for the support. I was pleasantly surprised how well they cushion your feet in just the right places. Pricey but worth it. It would be nice if they came in more colors.

Summary: "Great support and a great price"

When I was diagnosed in May '10 with plantar fasciitis, the doctor told me not to go barefoot and to use inserts in my shoes. I never connected with any inserts that actually helped, but using shoes with deep heel cups and arch support (Orthaheels) has helped tremendously.

Just got my Spenco's yesterday:

Pros: deep heel cup, decent arch support, snug fitting straps that keep the sandal in place, barely feels like you are wearing shoes!

Cons: the arch is not as high as I am used to in the Orthaheels and they are a light shoe and there is not much shock absorption under the heel

I have decided to keep these purely as a house shoe - good to put on first thing when getting out of bed.
