I started wearing these sandals to allieve plantar fasciitis pain in my foot. I put them on first thing in the morning and wear them all day. It has really helped my pain and the arch support and heel cups are wonderful. The straps do rub a little and irritated the top of my foot at first, but my feet have gotten used to them and they feel great now. I agree with the others to size down. I usually wear a
7 1/2 and a 7 in the shoe fits perfectly.

I have very high arches which can cause Plantar Fascitis from time to time. For this reason I am required to wear supportive shoes all of the time even in the house. These are my "house shoes" and meet the approval of my doctor. Thanks - I love these.

These sandals are great for anyone who needs additional arch support and they are very comfortable to wear. Although I did try them on in store first to determine the correct size, I was able to order my normal size.

Summary: "A sandal that lives up to the reviews"
I was very skeptical about paying $54.99 for a fit flop. I read all the reviews and everyone was very positive about the sandal, so I gave it a try. Well am I glad I did. I had both knees replaced and now have back issues and walking was a chore. Now I must say with the very supportive arch and cushioned heel in this sandal and the TOTAL COMFORT I am walking so much better and with less pain. These sandals do not cure your back problems but they do relieve the pain when you are wearing them bearable. I haven't taken them off since I bought them and I wear them EVERYWHERE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these sandals and they are worth EVERY penny. You will not be disappointed if you buy these, in fact I'm going to buy another pair. I usually read reviews on any item before I buy it and so far no review has let me down. If you don't LOVE them you can always return them. GO FOR IT !!!!!
