Summary: "Buying 2nd pair!"
I had almost given up finding a lightweight orthopedic sandal let alone a flip flop. It is the end of my 3rd summer and I am ordering another pair since these are wearing out. Like other reviewers I have difficulty walking barefoot without some pain, so these have seen year around use. I have been VERY happy with these.

Summary: "Gift for My Mother"
My mother suffers from plantar fasciitis and I picked these sandals out for her for Mother's Day. I bought these along with the slipers and they make her feel 10 times better walking throughout the day. I would recommend these.

Summary: "These feel GREAT! Wear them every day."
I wear these around the house all the time. I only wish someone else would create a flip flop with arch support and undercut Orthaheel on the price. Too bad they don't make nice looking shoes with this same arch.
These didn't require any break in period, I don't get blisters like other reviewers had mentioned, they aren't hard like a rock, they are perfect.
Drop the price, you'll sell more.

I got a pair of Wave sandals today. I was amazed at how supportive the arch system is. The sandal is also cushions your step nicely. I love them.

Summary: "The Perfect Sandal IF you suffer from Plantar Faciitis"
If you actually suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, then these are the sandal for you. Living in Florida means you wear sandals most of the time. After wearing these for two weeks, my heel pain is gone and I haven't had to wear my boot to bed once. I wear them from morning until night; the soles are firm (not hard as a rock) and the support is fantastic. I debated whether to spend so much money on a pair of sandals and after reading some of the other reviews almost decided against it. Then one night in desperation I decided to purchase a pair, these are the only sandals I will ever wear. Yes, you may get a blister, so put a blister patch on it, it will go away. Yes, they are heavier than a flip-flop, but they have the support needed for this type ailment. It does take a week or so to get use to them, but it is so worth it. Like I said in the beginning, IF you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, this is the sandal for you. If you don't suffer, then what are you looking at these for?
